Yuatsu Impactor is JGI’s utility model patent and a registered trademark. It is non-explosive source for seismic surveys. Several types of Yuatu Impactor have been developed based on our long-term research. The latest model has been developed for S-wave survey and is capable of low blow angles of 65 degrees from the perpendicular(See photo above).
