RF Assignment
In order to avoid the interference between RU, GDAPS-4R automatically manages the RF assignment for each RU by CRU via a pager.
Power Saving Control
Different from other radio system, GDAPS-4R uses UHF ISM band, which is world-widely provided for industrial usage, for its radio frequency. This is another predominance of GDAPS-4R because it is not influenced on the system performance by Radio License. In order to avoid the radio interference between RU (Radio Unit), GDAPS-4R manages RF assignment of each RU automatically from CRU via a VHF pager.
Application to the Present GDAPS-4 Users
As the pager and/or HT controls RU settings, the present users of GDAPS-4 only need to prepare RU, cable junction adapters, VHF transmitter for the pager, the interface unit with CRU and the application software for GDAPS-4R, which are supplied by JGI. Users can assemble GDAPS-4R without any modifications to the present RSU.
