The JGI's data center is equipped with UNIX servers and a large scale PC cluster system to provide data processing and analysis services using mostly proprietary software packages for large volumes of geophysical and geological data. Software packages include SUPER X for seismic processing SUPERLOG for log analysis, GRMG for gravity and magnetic surveys, RMOS for remote sensing, interactive Active Seis for seismic QC on Windows PCs, and BSS for geological basin study and other specialized applications. Most of the software was developed in-house. JGI is capable of developing customized software upon request.
