For Surveys in Shallow water areas, shallow water surveying systems such as the ocean bottom cable systems are employed. Moreover, normal land surveying systems and offshore streamer cable systems are combined to improve the quality of data where applicable. Positioning systems such as differential GPS are employed to improve surveying accuracy, a critical factor for Geophysical surveys.
